Established in 1994, Cox Purtell was founded on values of Honesty, Integrity and Respect. We're a business committed to ethical behaviour and treating people as we ourselves want to be treated. We're not interested in hard sales tactics, we want to support your business and we work with our clients as a partnership. In our industry, this is more important than ever.
We have recruited for NFP’s for 30 years and have a deep understanding of how they operate across their yearly cycles, and the challenges they may face with limited budgets and stretched resources in the face of global economic uncertainty, shifting government funding policies and donors that are more savvy than ever. To help with this we offer our NFP clients a discounted rate.
We look to source candidates with strong business acumen who possess the distinct skills and resilience needed for success in the sector, with a passion and
commitment to your purpose and the community.
We are an organisational member of the Fundraising Institute of Australia and our staff are FIA Code trained, giving us relevant insights into ethical, best-practice professional fundraising while keeping across current industry trends and challenges.
We visit our NFP clients regularly to ensure we acutely understand their staffing needs and current challenges, and can accurately articulate their culture and
environment which significantly increases the chances of a successful placement. This helps to build a strong and lasting partnership which is what we aim for, for all
of our clients.
Our experienced Not-For Profit team specialise in recruiting corporate support, NFP specific and tech roles for NFP's in a permanent and temporary/contract capacity, and recognise that effective recruitment is more than simply matching job titles to job opportunities, it is ensuring the right cultural fit for longevity in the position. We understand what is currently driving and motivating talent within NFP's and can provide valuable insights to our clients to assist them in filling important roles and retaining their existing talent.

CHARITIES AND SOCIAL ENTERPRISES WE SUPPORTED IN 2024
Working with Not-For-Profits gives us a unique understanding of the challenges they face, particularly with fundraising and the need for volunteers to support their purpose. We give back to our community where we can and so far this year we have supported the organisations below.
Our team raise much needed funds for some, donate blood and plasma regularly, give time to pack materials for Indigenous & Torres Strait Islander communities, we do beach clean ups and support organisations that support, empower and employ women with lived experience of homelessness, domestic violence and complex trauma.
If you need a team of energised volunteers, get in touch with Jen. She loves hearing about how we can help and bringing the team together to support our community.
We offer one-on-one mentoring, career guidance and assistance to social enterprises and charities where return to work is a key focus for those they support. If we can assist you in this way, please reach out, we are always open to supporting our local community, especially where our skills can be utilised to make a different to those in need.
Our team regularly facilitate free careers webinars and workshops for our association and education clients to help prepare their members and students for interviews. You can have a look at our events page for current webinars to get an understanding of what we do for our clients, and if you feel we can help, we can tailor our approach to fit in with your return-to-work program or requirements.
